Macrobetix – ”The government is creating doppelgangers of the population in an attempt to control people. When the experiment fails, the doppelgangers are locked underground until their eventual uprising led by lead actress Lupita Nyong’o & Madison Curry. The doppelgangers seek their revenge on the population, going after the individuals they have been cloned from.
The film has a great balance between thriller and horror moments intertwined with comedy, just as you begin to get sucked into a more serious and intense scene, Peele hits you with some comedy. I especially enjoyed the scene where the family brutally murder the doppelgangers of a family holidaying nearby all set to the sound track ‘F@ck The Police’.
Although the story of the film isn’t that strong, it’s got great cinematic moments that keep you engaged.”
