He follows the trail of dead bodies and blood until he finds over 2 million dollars in cash, but the money, along with Llewelyn are being hunted down by the pathological killer and assassin Anton Chigurh, who in-turn is being hunted by the local sheriff Ed Tom Bell.
Being ex-military Llewelyn Moss isn’t Anton Chigurh’s run of the mill target and the two battle it out, not only physically but also mentally as Llewelyn constantly attempts to out smart Anton who in unwavering in his mission to get the money.
The film constantly keeps you guessing what the next crossing between the two will be, whilst beautifully weaving both the sheriff and Carson wells characters into the story.
A well paced and intense thriller western from the Coen brothers in their classic style of interwoven story-lines, real life and open endings, with some superbly rich character acting from the cast. Although each character is completely different, the actors portray their individual roles flawlessly, Tommy Lee Jones as an ageing local sheriff , Josh Brolin as the ex solider who chances taking the money, Javier Bardem the cold and unwavering hit man & Woody Harrelson a bounty hunter. A great film with plenty of twists, turns & fantastic acting.”
